Felt Pieces for Face

Use your scissors to cut out the shapes seen below from your craft felt. This will make up the eyes of Lechonk.

During assembly, the felt eyes can either be glued on with hot glue, or attached by using a felting needle.

Check out my tutorial on Needle Felting on Amigurumi with roving wool!

Assembly

Sewing pins are recommended during assembly to assist in planning part placement before sewing. They also are very helpful in holding things in place as you sew pieces together!

1) Sew the nose to the front side. The top of the nose lines up between Rounds 3 and 4.

Plan the eye placement on both sides of the nose. The outer edges of the eyes should slightly extend past the color change of brown to charcoal yarn.

2) Apply the pupils and highlights to the eyes.

3) Apply the yellow details below the eyes.

4) Cut out two skinny ovals from your black craft felt and apply them to the front of the nose, as seen in the photo above.

5) Sew the ears to the head. Line up the ears so that they roughly cover the top half of the eyes.

6) Sew the tail to the backside of the body. The wider end (with the double crochet’s) will be the side that is sewed to the body.

7) Sew the four legs to the bottom of the body.

Finished!
