Tail Assembly

We will sew Part A and B together then insert stem wire into the tail to make it poseable.

NOTE: If you plan to gift this amigurumi to a child, the use of stem wire is not recommended! Use stuffing instead!

Back Stripes

Use Cafe Latte. Make Two.

This piece is worked in ROWS. It is a small piece that only consists of one row.

Chain 16.

Row 1) 15 hdc (15)

Finish off and leave a long tail for sewing.

Assembly

Use of pins is recommended during assembly to assist in planning part placement before sewing.

1) Sew the open end of the head to the open end of the body.

2) Sew the cheeks to the sides of the face. The tops of the cheeks approximately touch the space in between Rounds 18-19 on the head. Spaced approximately 20 stitches apart. (I have place holder eyes, nose, and mouth pinned to the head for reference while I assemble.)

3) Sew the thighs to the sides of the body. The side of the opening that has decreases will be pointed towards the bottom. The tops of the thighs touch approximately at Round 22 on the body.

4) Sew the belly to the front of the body.

5) Sew the flat end of the feet to the underside of the thighs/body.

*Additional detail: Use black yarn to embroider toe lines onto the front of the feet!

Foot attachment seen from below.

6) Sew the arms to the sides of the body, just under the head in a forward reaching direction.

7) Sew the back stripes to the back of the body.

8) Attach the ears to the head. They can be sewn on or glued with hot glue.

Cut out the eyes and nose from felt and apply to the front of the face.

Embroider, or needle felt, and mouth.

Finished!
